My interest in photography started approximately 12 years ago by taking many classes at our local college. Prior to taking classes I would always look at something and say "that would make a great photo". I finally moved my picture taking from my mind to a camera. I switched to the digital camera in 2004. I really like the flexibility the digital format provides for both capturing and processing an image. I tend to be attracted to subjects that are strong in color and or design. I like to shoot a wide variety of subjects, both in the natural and man made worlds. Someone once described photography as taking something ordinary and making it extraordinary. I think that is how I would describe my photographic goals. |
